We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Hirelane. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs that power our innovative hiring platform. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver new features and improvements that help our customers achieve their hiring goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, and Ruby on Rails

• Optimize backend performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data and traffic

• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend functionality into web and mobile applications

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of our development process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby

• Experience with database technologies such as SQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including Agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
